Eric Maskin, 2007 Nobel Laureate in Economics, is the Adams University Professor of Economics at Harvard University, and theSpecial-term Professor at China Economics and Management Academy in School of Innovation and Development, Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE). Eric Maskin shared the 2007 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics for his work in Mechanism Design Theory. This is the study of how, given an economic or social goal, we can design a procedure or institution (that is, a mechanism) for achieving that goal. In this lecture, Prof. Maskin gives an introduction to mechanism design using several simple examples, including how to divide a cake fairly, how to allocate spectrum licenses, and how to choose a public energy source.Since 2006, at the invitation of China Economics and Management Academy, Professor Eric Maskin has come to our university to giveadvanced courses or lectures on frontier theories and applications of economics.
Eric Maskin，2007年诺贝尔经济学奖获得者，哈佛大学经济系亚当斯大学教授（Adams University Professor），新万博体育,新万博体育app创新发展学院中国经济与管理研究院特聘教授。Eric Maskin教授因在机制设计理论方面的贡献，荣获2007年诺贝尔经济学奖。该理论研究如何针对某一经济或社会目标，设计出能够实现该目标的流程或制度（即机制）。在此次讲座中，Eric Maskin教授通过几个简单实例介绍了机制设计的基本原理，包括如何公平分配蛋糕、如何分配频谱许可证，以及如何选择公共能源等。从2006年开始，在中国经济与管理研究院的邀请下，Eric Maskin教授历年来多次来新万博体育,新万博体育app开设前沿课程或开展学术讲座，为新万博体育,新万博体育app师生讲授经济学前沿学术理论和应用。
